Joseph specialises in tax field audits, tax dispute cases in Hong Kong and cross-border tax issues. His clients include listed companies in Hong Kong and overseas.

Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Joseph spent more than 10 years with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Joseph has successfully advised listed Hong Kong property groups to secure non-taxable capital gains on property redevelopments. He has also represented clients in their Board of Review hearings in Hong Kong involving sources of trading profits. Joseph has assisted a client to pursue a case against the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department by way of an application for Judicial Review.

Joseph is an independent non-executive director of a Hong Kong Main Board listed group with business in food wholesale, overseas concessionaire retail, and property investment.
