After graduating and gaining some initial working experience in the UK, Karina returned to HK and joined KLC in 2004. She acquired solid experience in auditing and taxation in the early years and later developed extensive experience in insolvency, litigation support, investigation and financial due diligence. Her job profile includes companies listed on the HK and Singapore Stock Exchange, multinational companies and significant local private companies in HK and China across a wide spectrum of industries, including energy.

Her representative cases include providing litigation support to a multinational group of companies with total assets of over 11 figures in US$ engaging in oil trading and large-scale national infrastructure construction in developing countries. The case was led by 3 Senior Counsels together with 6 Counsels over an extended period. In addition, she assisted the litigation sub-committee of a charitable foundation set up by one of the late tycoons in HK.  Karina also personally responsible for planning the restructuring of over 100 retail shops and managing a receivership of a HK listed company with ongoing operation revenue of high 11 figures and total assets of low 11 figures in HK$.
