"I am currently 5 months into a 1-year placement with Baker Tilly as part of my university degree and I am enjoying all the opportunities both the company and Hong Kong have to offer.

On the day I arrived I was placed in a team straight away to commence my first audit. Being an undergraduate with only a small amount of practical experience in the UK, I felt a little out of my depth but I was reassured when all of my colleagues were so kind, friendly and willing to take the time to help and guide me.

I was surprised at how quickly I learnt and how quickly I was given responsibility. I really enjoy moving around to BT’s different client offices and have been lucky enough to travel to Thailand this year as part of an audit and where I am due to return early in 2019.

I am looking forward to the following 7 months and what they will hold and it will definitely be sad to say to goodbye to my new-found friends and home here in Hong Kong."
