On 31 December 2018, Baker Tilly Hong Kong Managing Director Andrew D Ross will step down as Managing Director of the firm, continuing as Consultant in a senior advisory role to the Board and to clients.
Executive Director Cynthia Lo will succeed Andrew as Managing Director commencing 1 January 2019. Cynthia joined the firm in 1991 and has served as Executive Director of Audit and Assurance since 2005.
This is a natural progression reflecting our succession planning developed over several years. It also coincides with the Network rebranding and these two changes will be the catalyst which will take the firm to the next level.
Andrew made the following comments:
“Baker Tilly Hong Kong has enjoyed remarkable and consistent growth. We have recently added 4 new Directors and have outstanding leaders at all levels in the firm. I have the utmost confidence that Cynthia will continue our commitment to shape a successful tomorrow for our clients, our people, our profession and our communities.”
We have recently rolled out the new brand identity in Hong Kong signifying our commitment to growth. Since inception the firm has welcomed and adapted to change. This is essential in enabling us to continue providing industry-leading resources.
Cynthia expressed her vision for the future:
“We are fortunate to have grown to become one of the top ten accounting firms in Hong Kong. I will continue to focus on providing superior quality and customised services to clients of all sizes over all industry sectors.”
In short, Baker Tilly Hong Kong will continue to provide the consistent, reliable and quality services with which you have become familiar over the years, and we are confident that we can improve on these high standards in the future.
Our team would like to thank you for placing your trust in Baker Tilly Hong Kong and wish you a happy and prosperous 2019.
